Full Version: system prices down

The PS2 and XBox has seen why Gamecube was sweeping in many customers and they both decided they wanted a share of that and slashed down their prices to $199. The Gamecube, in responce, cut down the cost to $149, allowing their customers to buy a game with the consule and it would still be just as much or less than the PS2 or XBox. Now, I know ive been screwed again. Buying a GC a couple weeks ago kind of sucks. But seeing the GC going down in price, keeping with their 'a better system for less' idea alive is great. So, any takers on the reduced cost systems? I would, but I already got my next generation system and dont need one until the next comes out.

I saw somewhere that MS is actually losing money on every XBOBX sold!
Well what can you say? The only winners are the consumers

all consoles lose money when they are sold, its the games that make so much profit that makes it worth it for the company, thats why pirating console games is just dumb.

luck is beating the odds, bad luck is when they are the odds of having something bad happen to you.
