-yes, I know I replied to this post earlier on, BUT;
I downloaded Aleph One in order to play Marathon with a few friends of mine, on PCs. Well... Let's just say the PC version was, well... Not satisfying. The program never actually quit. The window would close, but the proces was still running, so one would have to terminate the process using the task manager ([ctrl][alt][del]). Furthermore, when we played multiplayer, the game actually had several half-a-second lags(!). On two PCs, networked at 100 Mbps. Each PC well over the GHz, with 256 and 512 MB RAM. I could not find a way to reduce the mouse sensitivity, which was way too high. Q3, HL, DS you name the game, went well. Everything went smooth, except Aleph One. I have not tried the Linux version networked yet. The mac version I have not tried either. I just know, the PC compilation of AO is way below release stage. Buggy, laggy and with large necessary features missing

Ah well... Maybe if we both emulate macs, and THEN network AO, or Marathon Infinity or whatever. Maybe we then could get the macs to join as well!? *dreams of LAN gaming with all 8 slots in Marathon filled up...*
Ah, well... It's still fun to frag friends in other games as well.
