I believe it was an action strategy game that ws going to be for both Mac and Win. It never really got past development, and died. (I forgot exactly why, though. I'm sure some other people know)

They are very similar - the 'mysterious game' is probably another attempt to make a Ragnarok-type game, even if it is based on new code.

I know but the similarities still help to visual the game in the mind. I know it is different code but it can still inplement the same features that we were told about when Ragnarok was first announced...
