I was just looking around this website when I noticed that EV Nova is going to Windows!!!
My first question is why?
I thought Ambersoft was a mac only companie!
If they start to sell their games to PC drones then these chat rooms will be filled with PC were better than you snobbs... Also if they stick to mac only they do not have much compition, except blizzard, Aspyra, and Feral interactive! If they go to PCs then big companies like Maxis, Hasbro, and Westlakes will rip them to peaces. I say they keep with the mac users for a while and then make the next tribes or Sims that will blow the other markets out of the water! then Ambersoft will have big snoty PC owners begging for it's release and they can then have a Westlakes or someone to pay them big money to release the game on PC. Hay I mean EV Nova is really kick ass game but I just don't think it will be the next sims.
In fact I think I'm going to start a chat about knew game ideas!

Mac users are just as much responsible for these silly Mac vs. PC debates as any windows user. Most PC users are intelligent people, and the Mac community has its fair share of stupid people as well. Particularly, the sort of people who would like EV are not likely to be the sort of "macs sux i8 u al haha" PC user we all know and dread. We don't have anything to worry about. People who go around saying that Windows sucks are just as responsible for these silly flame wars as any windows user.

As for competition, don't worry. Ambrosia (not ambersoft ) doesn't sell mainly to the PC market, but if there is a high demand for a game to be ported to windows, such as there is with EV. They're not really directly competing with those large companies, they're just porting a popular game to the windows market to make some money.

EV not being the next sims? Who knows? Maybe we'll get lucky... I think it has the potential to become an amazingly popular game.

As a final note, Westlake is actually a Mac company that ports Windows games to Mac. They do not publish games for the PC.

People need to learn that we dont care for citizen iLocks, We do it when we feel its necessary.

As with this case. There will be no Mac vs. Pc debates here. This is about games.
Also ASW is a buisiness, its been around for awhile, I would think they have a clue what there doing.
