Now, I haven't played Planetarion since season 5, but I have noticed that a lot of new alliances have swept up hundreds of planets and the new OF alliance now spans over 2 clusters (625 planets about per cluster) and this DIV alliance now holds over 400 member planets. I havent seen these numbers really since the Mercury Solace debacle. Could someone who has been playing the seventh season bring me up to speed?

Don't get your hopes up. Furgion still reigns supreme (has ever since the fall of Concordium in round 2).

How many planets down Furgion hold?

A lot more than two clusters. Last I checked it was something like a few galaxies in EACH cluster.

Furgion lost round 6. Its only natural that they would rebound. Personally, I think their stranglehold on PA is no longer absolute.
Not that I care--I let my R7 account die a bit ago. PA seems rather dull to me compared to the other things I could be doing. Either be in a big alliance where you're a part of the melting pot, or be nothing.....no thanks.

I just got back in Planetarion, dont put a drape on my fund. Even if it takes 72 hours for my new account to organize an attack on an idle player, its still pretty fun.
Besides there are a few ruthless independent warlords which have been plucking their cluster clean to make super-planets. Next season all galaxies will be randomized so no more private galaxies, and private galaxies are what makes up much of the alliance-base. So next season we can expect the clusters to be dominated by those warlords who go rogue.

Ugh, starting over and forming a new cluster alliance. Our old one fell apart at the slightest shove, the entire cluster fell into choas and inter-galactic wars in 48 hours of its collapse. How pathetically sad.
Aperial is a new alliance I am creating to save the young and innocent planets from this horrible chaos. What happened to the good old days when Cluster Alliances meant something?

That died around the beginning of Round 5.

Simple. FoS and another major alliance allied up and wasted Furgion early. Later on, Furgion came back and ripped apart the other major alliance, but couldnt hope to compete with FoS. FoS won it, making for an interesting blemish on Furgion's perfect record.

Gah, I only hope my alliance wont be noticed in far off cluster 40 and therefore will avoid being crushed in the womb. As soon as I waste this Cluster Alliance which took over after c40a finally fell apart I can get to expanding to Cluster 39 and Cluster 38. Marching slowly towards NewX, Div, Xandu, and Titans.
