You say the worked perfectly "before". Before what? (before this month, before you changed computers, etc.)

I had this problem before. I think I gave it bucket-loads of RAM to play with.

[edit] I remember now. I installed something that changed my system prefs, possibly a security update. Energy Saver control panel. I found whatever I installed to screw up my battery prefs, ('cause I use a Graphite iBook) so I changed my settings back. It seemed to work.[/edit]

You've got a pet halibut?
Yes. I chose him out of thousands. I didn't like the others, they were all too flat.

I'm guessing you have the Carbon version for OS X. Try running Classic and viewing the cinematic sequences within the Classic version, although you should definitely use the Carbon version for actual game play, which slows down under Classic.

No.....I have Mac O.S. 9.0.2. I think it may have started when I changed to it; not sure...

Upgrade to 9.1 or 9.2.2 - they are much more stable and bug-free. While that may not be the cause of your problem, it will likely fix other things, too.

Oh, both 9.1 and 9.2 are free upgrades from Apple.

Woops, I meant it started acting weird when I changed to 9.2.2.-sorry about that.

How much memory are you giving Starcraft, and how much does your computer have (excluding virtual)?

Heh - everything acts weird in 9.2....

9.2 dropped support of our modem... it's 9.0.4 until the next computer.
