http://epiar.net/ is "based off the Mac game, Escape Velocity by Ambrosia, but is not strictly a clone of that game." For Windows (and Linux), still in developement.

It's no surprise really. When EV and EVO came out they were great games but they weren't really noticed. There were no other like the EV series when those to came out, but now with EVN it seems that we will be seeing more EV like games. First EVN is being ported to windows. Next there's this. Also the EVE thing, and I saw a brief description of a game called Freelancer (I think) for PC that also fits into the escape velocity catagory, and there will most likely be more.

The game looks slightly interesting, I will try it, if it passes as a moderatly interesting game i may use it to get my PC using freinds to shut up about how long Nova is taking to be ported. It doesnt look even close to the EV series though. There is also no user expandability mentioned a major selling point of EV games to me.
