Well, I know it's an old game, but it's so much fun. I got GT3 for a friend's birthday, and played it and was instantly hooked. Having only a PSX, I went and got GT2. It is so much fun. Simulation mode keeps me up late at night, racing for hours on end, shutting the doors and blocking out the outside world "They don't have 300 RPM, therefore they don't exist." I'm going to have lots of fun with this one, I think. Does anyone here have any opinions on GT2?

IMO, GT2 is a lot better than 3. Though the graphics are light years better in three, the gameplay suxx0rz, so I play GT2 more often.

here's a tip: everytime you get a T-rex (for those of you who haven't played, it's a car) take it to the crusher. you get a rocket launcher. it's been a while since i last played it, so i could be wrong, but i'm pretty sure it's what you get. Also, you playied the firetruck mission yet for the zibotsu? the one where they mount a flame thrower on the firetruck? that defanently should have made it into GTA3.

Right now I'm beating myself silly over the US Nationals. The racetrack is horrible. The worst part is the final turn before the finish line. You can't carry any speed into it, and even less out of it. No matter if I'm in first or in fifth before the turn, I almost always end up in sixth place at the finish line. I hate it! And I can't take a car that acelerates better out of the corner, as the top speed is too low to keep up with the field for the rest of the track! Arggggh!

Does anyone remember what they drove to beat this track (At the three different HP levels)?

Yes! I defeated my nemesis track. The US Nationals is won! (At least at two out of the three HP levels). All other tracks shall fall before me! Muahahahahahahahaha! Muahahahahahahahah! It's much easier to win when you drive intending to stay on the track

It's ok. Someone needs to be beaten badly for making the abbreviations so similar. I still sometimes call GTA Grand turismo when not abbreviating.
