What is your highest Mars Rising High score, people? Also, what sector did you reach?
I might like some responses from some Ambrosia Staff if They had played it in Their spare time. =)

Thanks, all.

My personal best is around 2,842,000 on the 22nd level, I believe. But I know for a fact that there are much higher scores out there.

There's this guy on #ev3, I think it's AAAPlayer, and he has beaten the game with some really high score. Myself, I've never registered it .

I'm so lucky that I played today. I got 4,083,760, and I got up to the mid-point of Sector 28. =)

Aye, that's who it is. He's beaten it a minimum of three times to my knowledge. Probably more.

Well, my bro uses the mouse because he thinks it's mroe natural to move left to mofe left etc. I don't see the difference between mouse and keyboard. A suggestion was to remove the 5 kay abnd mount a joystick on it. =)

Anyway, I obviusly had no problem beating the unregistered version in the first month with those kinds of games.
I can live up to sector 10 without dying once. =)
Now I know why 11 is the maximum number of extra lives you can have.

I've reached lev 28, 4 times this past week. My roomate Shifty and I, were competeing to see who can get a higher score, he had 3,071,550 on level 19. When I totally obliviated it, and i've just about cleared it off the list. High scores by me, 4,940,170 where I was hoping to stay alive one second more and break 5 mil.
Secret is to, keep the 5x bonus til about level 15. and Memorize boards so that you can knock out critical ground troups. Last but not least.. GET THE POWER UP's and KEEP THEM. Forward power and Missles clear everything so you can drop bombs.
Don't give up on getting Wave bonuses, in later levels.. just continue to bombard all ground objects.

Hey, to the guy who actually beat the game. Do you win any prizes, what happens?
And for cryin out loud who the heck programmed level 28? its friggin impossible.
