| | As they say, all's fair in love and war, and when it comes to thermonuclear war, well, all bets are off. DEFCON is a remarkably enjoyable game.

| | If you have any interest in strategy games whatsoever, definitely check out DEFCON—it feels like a blast of fresh air in a genre that seems more interested in coating Starcraft or Command & Conquer with a fresh coat of paint rather than biting the bullet and innovating.

| | DEFCON is a deceptively simple game for the strategy buff who doesn’t conceal the complex and surreal nature of strategic thermonuclear war. It’s an entertaining alternative to a good game of chess.

| | Sketchfighter has received full marks (5 out of 5). [Sketchfighter] is what is closer to our idea of a perfect game

| | As long as you've got the time, though, DEFCON is a immersive and satisfying game of strategy. DEFCON may not have expensive 3D action or hollywood-caliber cinematic cut scenes, but with rewarding challenges, an active online community, and solid strategic gameplay, it does deliver a top-notch gaming experience for all aspiring flag officers.
