| | I am a long time fan of Ambrosia Software. I played Escape Velocity Nova like an addict for about 6 months. Since then, Gooball, and now ElBallo. Nice job, guys & gals! You make owning a mac worthwhile.

| | All of the animation in the game is well executed and serves as a testament to ProRattaFactor's talent, especially as a first-time developer.
If nothing else, this title establishes the technical capabilities of ProRattaFactor, and I hope to see great things from them in the future.

When I first saw screenshots before testing this game, I thought: "Well, that's certain such another Jump'n'Run..." But it's not! The Adventures Of El Ballo is a funny, crazy and simply great 2D-Jump'n'Run which I can recommend to all age groups! And an advice for careful parents: You can block the precarious parts of the cut-scenes using the family-mode. In general: Load and buy it and have fun!

| | I can only agree [that] "The Adventures of El Ballo is a game with charm, humor and intelligence. For those who like Jump&Run-games and fondly remember the games of yesterday, this is one of the most sophisticated games of the genre. 8.5/10.0

| | Finally a game has come around that I really enjoy playing. No, scratch that. I don't just enjoy it... I'm addicted to it. It reminds me of the fun and simple games of my childhood with a modern twist.
The art is reminiscant of the old nintendo/sega games of the 80s and the addition of the cartoon "nudity" just makes it a scream. This "nudity" can be locked out for those people that don't want their children to see it.
The levels range from extremely easy to beat to almost impossible. And I do say almost. I have been stuck on a level now for about a week, but I don't really care. This game is THAT much fun. The sound effects alone are fun enough to stick with it.
If you are like me and hate the trend that games are taking nowadays (ie. memory hogs, blood & gore filled, too much fighting/violence without reason, harddrive hogs, etc), then you will find this gem top on your best games list.
So run on out and grab your blaster and help save the inhabitants of the planet Testicular. And while you are at it make sure you bring plenty of food and drink with you... It's gonna be hard to leave.
