Something that should have been made when EVO(Escape Velocity Override) first came out: Pilot Converter. Pilot Converter reads pilot files from the original Escape Velocity and converts the data to Escape Velocity:Override pilot files. Now you don't need to make a new pilot if you want to keep playing in the original EV universe using one of the EVC (Escape Velocity Classic)plugins made for use with EVO.

Wander in a universe where seemingly everyone is crazy...except you, of course. Everywhere you go, there will be some reason to fight someone, explore something here or there, or turn on your allies with perfect legitimacy. A full array of weapons, outfits, and ships is in play. Fleets and specialty vessels to intercept you to make the game challenging and fun. Lots to do, lots to explore, and the ships are very colorful, so it\'ll be nice to look at. Enjoy!

Flying High is a plug-in that will give the player a hard time. The player may also have an easy time, but even the easiest of times can quickly go sour. The comps are well-equipped to fight you in even the most powerful of vessels. Four massive mission strings to play, plenty of side-missions, and lots of secrets to discover. Have fun!

EV-Names is a small (VERY small) tool for helping Escape Velocity designers to come up with names for systems and stellar objects. How it works: EV-Names takes a random beginning string from it's STR# resource (ID#128) and then randomly adds strings to the end of that string from the other STR# resource (ID#129). If you know your way around ResEdit, feel free to change the STR# resources however you choose.
