In my early EV days, I searched for a strategy guide that didn't give everything away, but told me a few hints without making everything way too easy or using strategies that took days. Now, I decided to write one. It includes strategies on how to fight, how to make money, and most importantly, how to use your skill to improve your succes.

This is version 1.0 of EV Bible. EV Bible is a program for plugin developers that organizes and stores the EV bibles for both EV Override (which pertains to EV orginal as well) and EVN. This application was coded by Alan Smith (cheers) and UI was designed by Robert Friedland (me). This application has been tested and is very stable. Runs on OSX 10.3.9 and OSX 10.4 Tiger. It may work on earlier OSX versions and is PowerPC only. Version 2.0 will have many more features and updates are still to come. Check this website: http://www.youtellme.meadowsweetfarm.com/index.htm for updates, news, and a full description with screenshots on this application. Questions, comments, suggestions? Send me an e-mail at trinix@sbcglobal.net. Thanks.

This full-color (QuickDraw 32) PICT file contains a map of the Escape Velocity galaxy. Star system symbols (usually just a colored circle) show the controlling government. Star system names include the names of the objects in the system, in order (e.g., in the Propus system, New Scotland is listed second so type 2 to select it for landing or hailing). Names of objects are grayed out if you can’t land on them. Note that there are objects without facilities on which you can land these still have names in black. Star system coordinates were taken from the EV Data 1.0.2 file and the background is white for printing.

This application contains all of the stats for the ships in Ambrosia's Escape Velocity including all ships that are not purchasable from planets. This guide is for reference purposes so you can compare ships and decide which ones you want (or just to look at for fun). Ships are arranged in order of cost except for the Rebel, Confederate, and Alien ships, which are seperated from the others. Ship names are the full long names. Names in parentheseds are the normal, shortened names.

Greetings, I am Captain Rusty Ironworks, and I have written this guide to help the beginning space traveler so that he (or she) does not have to endure the hardships and strife that I had to survive when I started working the space lines. To start out, I have compiled a list of all the ships and the descriptions that are written next to the picture in the Shipyard. I will write my views on the ships in italicized blue writing below the description.

These ships will be in the plug being created by Kris Hauser and myself.
