ResEdit may be gone, denying many a Mac user from editing and creating plug-ins, but there is Rezilla. Rezilla is a resource editor for OS X that is fully capable of editing escape velocity plug-ins. The latest version can be downloaded from SourceForge.

This utility is for Windows NT only (2000/XP/Vista). This simple batch script will convert all MacBinary files in a folder into usable .rez files. Directions: Place converter.bat in your nova directory. To convert all .bin files in "Nova Plug-ins," simply run the file. To convert all .bin files in any other folder, drag the folder onto the converter (this process should be familiar to you if you've ever converted any .bin files individually). This is not so much a plugin as a utility I changed the color of the hypergate to red. When I was done I used what I thought was an open resource ID. Instead of leaving it at that, I decided I should include the original .res16 file so that who ever uses this can change the resource id to what ever they need. Charcoal is the font that is supposed to be used for Nova's button labels. It's a standard Mac OS 9 font, but unfortunately is not present in Mac OS X, so for those OS X users who are missing the font, here it is. Just install the font, and Nova will use it automatically. (Windows users can find a similar font in the Win Nova Resolution Patch.)

v2.1. Plugin Archiver is an archiving program designed for the explicit purpose of archiving EV Nova plug-ins in the most cross-platform compatible way.
