This plugin adds two things to the game when you complete any major storyline. One being an Outfit like a Map only instead of the surrounding planets it shows the whole Galaxy. The second object it adds it a mission from the Mission BBS that allows you access to Sigma Tech and the Hypergates if you don't already have them.
