Tired of taking those advanced missions in a weak little ship, then being destroyed before you can even get out of the system? This plug-in fixes that, adding an outfit called the Odd Armor, available everywhere for 10 credits per layer. Maxing this outfit out effectively makes you invincible, while only getting one or two makes you powerful, yet still vulnerable. 500 layers max for a total of 5000 credit cost, no weight. pH Ultradrive is a simple plug that changes the "Overdrive" outfit in several fundamental ways. #1, it kicks butt now your Polaris Raven or Fed Carrier will now move quite a bit faster than a Manta. Whoah Nelly. #2, it costs 4 million credits, and is available everywhere. Incompatible with the plug, "All Items Available," I think... but should work with most others that don't also try to modify the Overdrive. If you already have an Overdrive from before -- lucky you -- it will now become Ultradrive free of charge. ----- =philter= ------

If you've ever felt sad that the Kestrel has EVN weapons instead of those cool retro EVC torpedo launchers and proton turrets, Classic Kestrel is the plug-in for you! It gives the EV Nova Kestrel (available at S7evyn) the weapons that it had in EVC, complete with graphics and sounds. The Kestrel itself still has the cool EVN graphics, though. Due to the fact that EVC ammo wouldn't be widely available in the Novaverse, the torpedo launcher and missile rack use the ship's energy. This plug-in is for Mac, so PC users will have to convert it. This is a fix for something I thought very stupid. The Marine Platoon outfit is an outfit that gives you extra crew so you can capture ships, but when you buy it, the engine sells it to you as mass. Since the outfit is people, all I did was change it from instead of it taking up mass now it takes up cargo space.This plug was created by Scarab. This new release includes 18 outfits and even more weapons. There are also two new ships which act as escorts: Slowers and Disposable Shields. The new weapons are either powerful or pointless, depending on your knowledge of their use. I have also removed all the super cheats except the Mass Disabler, if you can find it. This is the second Version of SkipMerrol. In the first one I forgot to include the Merrol missions for the Pirate story. Oops.

This cheat is for skipping the repetitious missions from Merrol, so you get on with the story. All the missions are available at the MissionBBS on Merrol. There are both Mac and PC versions of the plug.

Oh, and did I forget to mention the price? A scant nothing? And that it's worth somewhere in the neighborhood of a couple million? Talk about holding it's resale value. So, whether you want to do some ship trading and get a few million in pocket change, or you want to use this MAJOR CHEAT, you can have it right from the get-go, available at any shipyard this side of the galaxy.
