This guide is a spreadsheet containing all of the resources from the default EVN scenario, version 1.0.10, as translated by EVNEW -totxt. For this reason it contains references to the exported media resources. Each resource type has its own tab, with frozen header panes. Each resource entry includes an abbreviation of the filename from which it came. 'STR#' resources have been reformatted to show indices (and allow fitting within 256 columns). Also, I added 'STR ' patch IDs. I optimized all column headers to minimize wasted space.

JoshTigerheart's Department of Useful Guides has released the third update of the Close Combat Guide. This guide tells you which ships are good, what weapons to use, what outfits help, and what techniques to employ to ensure that no foe can stand up to your close ranged powers. Note that this guide is more directed towards average players, so it will not have specific stats and numbers in it. Things new to this version includes a new technique, several clarifications, who knows how many typo fixes, and hints on how to deal with various weapons and ships. Also, the guide is fully updated for 1.09. I no longer support any earlier version of Nova. Questions, comments, and contraband cookies should be sent to TwilightPhoenix@fastermail.com. The guide was written with Wordpad. If you do not have that, anything better then Notepad and Simpletext should be able to view it. If the .doc version does not work, use the .rtf. The .doc looks much nicer and is easier to read.

This is a guide for making better plugins, compiled from 29 experienced plug-in developers including Martin Turner (author of Frozen Heart). It is a complete list of production values that we feel will vastly help developers improve thier plug-ins. This is especially designed by people who are new to plug-in developing, but even some of the most experienced people can learn from it. It's only a few kb, what do you have to lose? Compiled by 21st Century Digital Boy.

I got tired of having to search through all of Nova's GOVT files trying to decyfer the different Classes, Allies, and Enemies, so i made this handy dandy guide. It outlines every government in each Class etc, in an easy to read (I think) document. Its in .PDF and Appleworks format, so download and enjoy! -Picquilarius [picquilarius@yahoo.com]
