This is a complete map of Overrides missions and the relationships between them, in the form of a huge GIF image (3838 x 2164 pixels, although the file is only 123K since its BW with some large blank areas). Explanation of the map symbols is in the lower right corner.

Which is better? The UE cruiser? The Igazra? Or perhaps even the Voinian Cruiser? This and many other questions are not answered, but this guide gives you all the numbers and analysis to help you figure out for yourself whats the best ship for you. This version includes corrections, plus new data to pull it in line with the changes in EVO 1.0.1.

Chronicles by Jake101 is a collection of the stories by Jake101. All his work has been edited to a common format and spell checked, hopefully making some things clearer. It also includes a number of chapters that haven't yet been released on the chronicles: chapter two of UE Fighter, and chapters 10 and 11 of Jade's Return. By Talos of Bacchus Freeware.

This is the EVO 1.0.2 Bible broken up into SimpleText documents. I find it easier than scrolling through the whole thing looking for a particular section. Hopefully someone will get some use out of it.

Peter Cartwright and Ambrosia Software, Inc. have worked together to bring you almost all the original 3D designs used to create the graphics for EV: Override. This includes the models for planets, stations, ships, weapons, outfit items, and so on. They are all Infini-D format, because that's what was used to make them. If anyone knows how to, and cares to take the time to, convert them to another format (even assuming that's necessary, I'm not familiar with many 3D packages), they are free to distribute them in that format, as long as it is distributed as a complete package with this documentation.

Captain Canardley Ableson's Technical Guide to the EV/O Universe is a must have (I think) for all of you who seek a deeper understanding of this universe. Sort of like Star Wars's Technical Manual or Star Trek's Compendium, Captain Ableson tells you (among other things) about how blaze cannons fire, how Defence Pods run, and describes the secret of the hyperdrive. I decided to make a guide for Escape Velocity: Override because no one else had one that said how to start the mission strings. This is my first submission to this site and my first guide. If you find any mistakes or things I should add please e-mail me at Bubba_Skunk@hotmail.com Enjoy, Bubba_Skunk

As far as I know, there is and has been no reference or manual on the subject of using ResEdit for EVO plug-in development. Well, one seems to be here now, doesn't it? This is an Adobe Acrobat PDF file, fully bookmarked, making it useful for both a reference and a manual/tutorial. It gives an introduction to using ResEdit for EV/O plug-in development for the beginner, teaching them every skill they'll need to make a plug-in in ResEdit. This can be used for EV or EVO, though it was written with EVO in mind (A word of warning: don't attempt to use this for writing "real" macintosh programs. It covers plenty for plug-ins, but barely anything for Mac programming. If you attempt it, your computer will die and so will you, when you look upon the charred remnants of your Mac.). The documentation is actually titled "The Plug-in Developer's Guide to ResEdit", but I couldn't fit it in the file name. A copy of ResEdit is included with the documentation. If you have suggestions, questions, complaints, etc., email me at: alethiometer@earthlink.net
