The Docks, the new ship editor for EVO. Enables TOTAL editing of ships in EVO, including easy access to flags and the new features added in EVO 1.0.2. Allows the creation of floating ID lists for Weapons, Outfits and Governments. Edit Sprites, other images, descriptions, names and parameters. The Docks auto calculates sprite sizes. Load pictures normally or from a resource file containing PICT resources (like another plug in). Very clean interface, tabable fields, balloon help. A lovely program to use. Download this for all your ship editing needs. Written by Kane O'Donnell.

ShipWrite What is it? ----------- Shipwrite is a tool for viewing, editing and creating ships for plugins to use in the great game Escape Velocity OverrideĀ (EVO for short) by Matt Burch and the people at Ambrosia Software Inc. This is not official software and we are not associated with Ambrosia in anyway except as satisfied customers. What does it do? ---------------- Creating a complete ship for EVO requires up to 14 separate resources to be created, all with specific numbering conventions. Shipwrite makes it easy, all you have to know is a single ship ID number and ShipWrite takes care of the rest. Pilot File Editor 3.0: When making a plugin, have you ever wished you could define which systems appear on the map at the start of the game? How about starting on a planet other than the default one? Have some dominated planets? Start in a different ship, have different weapons and outfits, higher rating, maybe have more cash. Or maybe you've always wanted to make an alien epic set in the Earth year 1066. Now you can, and more. With Pilot File Editor version 3.0, you can edit nearly every attribute of an Escape Velocity Overide pilot file using a graphical interface. Much more usable and stable than PFEv2.0b

THIS IS NO PLUG-IN!!! You'll have to be somewhat experienced (simple copypaste abilities) with ResEdit to use this. But what is it? It's all classic EV ships rerendered in some magma-style (thanks for that great plug, meowx) way. By Bolle bolle@surf-callino.de

Latest update to the newest full-blown EVO editor. This time the Govts/Dudes really do save! Other minor bug fixes. Now that version .7 has finally settled down I can start making the Stellar/Syst editor and the program will be finished soon. Don't forget to chuck out your old preferences file. Enjoy!

EEEVO is an editor for Ambrosia Softwares EV Override. When it is completed, it will support editing of all of the resources related to EV. It requires System 7 or later, and it probably requires Color Quickdraw as well.

The latest version of the newest ship editor for EV: Override. Version 1.0.2 Beta has a few cosmetic changes, and some additions suggested on the Webboard. Otherwise it is now a full blown ship editor. For those who don't know about it, The Docks enables you to edit all aspects of a ship in EVO. Create new ships, delete them, change their ID and name, alter their pics and sprites. Descriptions and names are editable. All the new EVO 1.0.2 flags are available in a nice clean interface. Auto calculates Sprite sizes. No need to go into ResEdit to use those new features! Import PICTs from other resource forks as well as loading them normally. Create floating Weap ID and Outf ID lists from any file with those resources in them. Download this for all your ship editing needs! 1.0.2 makes the tab order more logical, enabling quick editing. It also adds a few warning messages for Sprite editing. Cheers!

A new program for ResEdit users that allows the editing of ship descriptions, names, shipyard pictures, target pictures and comm dialog pictures. Hence, it ALMOST removes all that "Create New Resource" rubbish that takes so much time. Also allows importing of PICT resources from an external resource file (such as another plug in). Create a new ship in ResEdit, do the Spin Resource and animation pictures, and then run the plug in through Resource Battler for the rest. It's not a complete editor...yet. Read the read me file for info on future updates. Cheers!

After creating a 36-frame PICS animation of your ship or weapon, spinning clockwise and starting out facing straight up, run it through this handy application to create sprites ready for use with EV Override.
