| | Maelstrom is the best, most fun, most amusing, most interesting, most enjoyable computer game I have ever played! (And the best part is that it's downloadable and free for 30 days). Thank you very much, Ambrosia Software, Inc., for all the time and effort your company has spent in creating on of the world's best games. I, along with many others, loved the final product and I'm sure all of you at Ambrosia did, too! But don't forgetforget…Everything your company did was all worth it!!! Thank you again

| | I can't get enough of this game! My pets are starving and my wife is threatening to leave me! The grass in the front yard is knee high, and the paper boy won't come no more. I'm afraid the mailman may be next, and I just sent my registration check a week or so ago! What if he or she decides the house is condemned and I never receive the registration card!!

| | The art director at an agency I do work for has been playing Maelstrom a lot lately, and is really getting into it. This morning on his way to work, an accident occurred directly ahead of him. As the two cars came spinning towards him, the thought instantly flashed into his mind, "This is just like Maelstrom!" He reacted the same way he does when trying to avoid asteroids and stuff, and was able to slip through the swirling wreckage without hitting hit!

| | This is simply a CLASSIC game. I played a friend's version for many years, before getting my own computer, and now I've found it for myself. Congratulations on making something that ages so well.

| | If this game doesn't make you a spastic twisting mess by level 10, then you must have played to level 15 before totally wigging out.

| | Barrack is a very fun and interesting game. It's unique because I've never seen anything like it before. For this game, you need to use your mind to think things out before you make a move.

| | I suppose you can guess how this story turns out…after he left, I sat down to give it a shot, and the next time I look at the clock, three hours have gone by. In the same vein as Snood or Tetris, this game is incredibly addictive.

| | It's one of those simple but compelling games that can reduce you to a coma-like state, staring at your screen for hours on end. Don't say we didn't warn you.

| | It all started in 1993 when Andrew Welch, the company's founder, released Maelstrom, a takeoff on the classic Asteroids game that improves on the original in all aspects. Six years and five Macs later it's still on my hard drive.

| | With detailed color animation, four channels of digital sound, and smooth game play, Maelstrom takes full advantage of the Macintosh's multi-media capabilities. All the game needs is someone with guts and a thirst for glory in the pilot's seat.
