| | I have recently re-re-discovered Mars Rising as an action crammed game that smothers you in fun. I really enjoy playing all of your games, but Mars Rising seems hard to stay away from for long. Not only is blasting away enemies with enhanced firepower a blast, but having a friend to help is more fun than you can find in other games. I probably like Mars Rising the most of all games for it's arcade style action that is packed with fun.

| | One of the first things you'll find about Mars Rising is that the music and sound effects sync perfectly with the atmosphere and action in the game. The graphics are also superb. Controls are very responsive, and the main ship graphic sways back and forth as it moves from left to right.

| | I haven't played a game as downright stunning as Mars Rising in a long time. From the minute I launched the program I was impressed. Great music, graphics, story line, and game play make this game a winner, and it's bonus items keep you on your toes. Though it uses a "crippleware" approach, four levels are enough to let you make the decision to pay your $20.00, an asking price that is somewhat modest for this top quality game.

| | If you were a betting person, one safe bet would be that I will never stop singing the praises of macintosh shareware genius Ambrosia Software. This company, seemingly incapable of releasing anything less than solid hits has again amazed us all once again with the release of Mars Rising, a top-down shooter much like Galaga of ancient times.

| | As you squirt around the screen, you can pick up floating stars, drop bombs on targets for points, and acquire floating badges for extra functions, such as the ability to fire behind you as well as forward. It's definitely a skill-building game - practice makes perfect.

| | Mars Rising is a well-crafted "scroller" that harks back to the wave of arcade hits in the 80's. Players pilot a ship flying above the surface of Mars while bombing tanks and gun turrets, shooting down mines and other aircraft, and working to liberate Mars. It's classic arcade fare and will really push your dexterity.

| | Mars Rising is good, old-fashioned, finger-cramping, put-your-brain-on-hold fun. Playing Mars Rising is like being back in the arcade-except you've still got your quarters when you're done.
