Alternative Loading Screen - tired of those weird eyes and that mandelbrot? I took the loading screen image that I thought had the most promise and "completed it" - well at least it's better than those eyes! Make a folder called "graphics" in the "data" folder of your Uplink installation and expand this download into it. This is a Mac-friendly sort of Aqua-like theme for Uplink. All of the graphical buttons have been redone in a somewhat subdued candy-colored scheme. Not responsible for any loss of visual acuity due to badly thought-out color combinations o). Once you've mounted the disk image, just copy (command-drag) the whole thing into your Uplink installation's data folder. Load up uplink, and go to the Themes section under Options from the main menu. Enjoy a more lick-able Uplink experience!

Here are some (12) OS X Uplink disk icons I created with Can Combine Icons 3. SImply open the picture, and copy/past it. Classic version available when the 'black box' is dealt with. Special Photoshop touches will be done when my external drive is fixed (not enough internal space). Since I am having trouble with a 'black box' behind the icons, can someone give me some pointers?
