This is a Mac-friendly sort of Aqua-like theme for Uplink. All of the graphical buttons have been redone in a somewhat subdued candy-colored scheme. Not responsible for any loss of visual acuity due to badly thought-out color combinations o). Once you've mounted the disk image, just copy (command-drag) the whole thing into your Uplink installation's data folder. Load up uplink, and go to the Themes section under Options from the main menu. Enjoy a more lick-able Uplink experience!

Let's Hack Splash Screen - Want to replace that Uplink startup splash screen with something cool? Then this is for you! You should not install this until you can name without hesitation those two great companies that brought this game to the Mac for you -) ... - just expand this in your "graphics" folder in the "data" folder of your Uplink installation, (make a graphics folder if you haven't already done so - come on, you're a hacker, you can figure it out) - another cool graphics mod by Rob MacLoud.

Here are some (12) OS X Uplink disk icons I created with Can Combine Icons 3. SImply open the picture, and copy/past it. Classic version available when the 'black box' is dealt with. Alternative Loading Screen - tired of those weird eyes and that mandelbrot? I took the loading screen image that I thought had the most promise and "completed it" - well at least it's better than those eyes! Make a folder called "graphics" in the "data" folder of your Uplink installation and expand this download into it. You'll get a folder called "loading" with a TIFF image and a text file, both of these are required. The next time you start up you won't get "eyeballed" - brought to you by Rob MacLoud.
