ROCHESTER, New York -- April 9, 2009 -- Ambrosia Software, Inc. today announced the simultaneous release of WireTap Studio 1.0.10, WireTap Anywhere 1.0.3, and Snapz Pro X 2.1.4. These updates prepare our core Ambrosia productivity tools for the upcoming Mac OS X 10.5.7, as well as improve compatibility with Apple’s latest hardware.

This updated version, which is free to all registered users of WireTap Studio 1.0.x, provides improved performance, better handling of AAC-encoded audio, and many other fixes and enhancements.

WireTap Studio 1.0.9 features the following changes/enhancements:

• AAC recording stability improved.
• LivePreview performance enhanced by fixing minor issues during playback.
• Editor playback issues fixed: playback needle tracks better, Pause button, "Save As" more intuitive, and file management issues all addressed.

WireTap Studio 1.0.8 features the following changes/enhancements:

• Enhanced editor behaviors: more accurate meters, automatic selection of new markers, solved an issue exporting split files 
• Improved handling of large files: more robust behavior when files get too large or exceed available disk space 
• New recordings now always show up properly after creating or updating a library; fixed a bug that sometimes hid list of files 
• LivePreview now handles all file formats correctly; fixed a bug that caused occasional hangs when some formats were selected 
• iPhone export improved; fixed a crash that sometimes happened upon initial export
