Ambrosia Software, Inc. releases Soundboard 2.0.0: Shiny new features, audio routing, and low latency sound playing

ROCHESTER, New York -- November 4, 2010 -- Ambrosia Software announced today the release of Soundboard™ 2.0.0, a major upgrade to the live sound effect playing software. Like cart machines in broadcast radio studios, Soundboard lets you map sound effects, audio clips, or musical accompaniment to keys on the Mac keyboard, easily triggered with a single tap.
The new 2.0.0 version of Soundboard features major functionality upgrades, such as our new Soundpipe™ technology, which allows users to route audio to other applications (such as GarageBand) for recording. Other features include a totally redesigned one-window user interface, with major improvements such as per-effect fader controls, Duck and Pause All controls, and much more!

Too expensive!
This is nice, but wow, way too expensive! The previous version was only—what?—$24 or $29? Soundboard 2.0 is now almost double the price. And it stinks that the old version was completely unreliable because of the mono problem. So the only way to fix that problem is to upgrade at a high price. Come on Ambrosia give us loyal customers a break.

Expensive? Yes.
I also think it is expensive, but I better upgrade for $19. I feel bad for the people that needs to buy the new version for $49 and can't benefit from the upgrade price.
A softer price policy could benefit both side, Ambrosia and the clients.
