Yosemite and Snapz Pro X

My Snapz Pro app does not work at all with Yosemite. It appears to start for the first call up, but the screen shot does not appear on my desk top as it is supposed to. Would certainly be nice to be able to get some value for the $69 fee paid for this app. Hope the upgrade comes through quickly. This is really poor support for a wonderful app.

Recording audio with Yosemite

I just upgraded to Yosemite and wasn't able to use SnapzPro as I had once before. I performed the mentioned update (from 2013) and it allowed me to capture video and images but no audio. Looking online I uncovered that you can use QuickTime to do a "Screen Recording". The only audio options are "mic" and "line-in" (if you have that on your computer) but I just got a stereo cable and literally plugged in the headphone jack directly to the line in and voila! Audio capture as I had done with SnapzPro but for FREE and working :) good luck!

Yosemite update

So just out of curiosity will the update for this include a fix for lack of any functionality on multiple monitors?

Snapz on Yosemite

We are working on an update for Yosemite that contains other fixes and enhancements as well.

Regarding Snapz failing to work on Yosemite except for the first invocation, this happens if you double-click to save an image or movie.

If you hit the Return key instead, it'll work as expected. Yes, it's a silly bug, and we are fixing that as well. Hang tight folks!

Snapz Pro X 2.5.4 and Yosemite

My Snapz Pro X 2.5.4 is no longer working with Yosemite either. It would take screen shots for awhile, but I couldn't capture Mac audio even after I tried installing the Ambrosia Audio Support. Now the program appears right after I restart my computer but then disappears after one screen shot attempt. I really miss it.

The movie could not be recorded.

The problem looks like is the "Capture Mac audio" tab. It works when I record with it off.
How can I fix this?

Yosemite Incompatibility 2

Snapz Pro has not be updated in over a year. Apple has a new Operating System and Snapz Pro does not function properly with the new OS Yosemite. On my machine the audio does not record and there may be other anamolies for other users. We really need a Snapz Pro update, so that your software has compatibility with Apple's OS. Every developer knows that these OS upgrades are coming and you have a lot of time to prepare for the the release of a new OS. Please be responsible and release an update that is fully compatible with OS 10.10.

Yosemite Incompatibility

I'm trying to complete several projects using Snapz Pro and 2.5.4 is not compatible with Yosemite. Is there a work around now????

Not (fully) Yosemite compatible

I have the same problem after upgrading to Yosemite: Snapz Pro X works the first time and then stops working. To make it work again you have to shut down and restart the computer (in my case MacBook Pro Retina). Looking forward to a fix!
