Rochester, NY -- March 27 2006 -- After taking the underground gaming scene by storm with Uplink, Introversion is not only turning heads but it's winning awards with it's latest creation Darwinia. This strategy/adventure game has been awarded with the Seumas McNally Grand Prize at the 2006 Independent Games Festival Awards.
The IGF took place in San Jose, and it didn't take long for these california folks to realize that the European crew of Introversion had made a great game. The retro-stylish game took home this award, as well as $20,000 cash prize that goes with it. The winning didn't stop there, Darwinia also won out in the Technical Excellence and Innovation in Visual Arts Categories.
Ambrosia Software would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Introversion, All their hard work has really paid off. Like we had said the first time playing this game. "Wow, this is going to be big!".
