The Scratching Post: Ambrosia's Apps and Appliances

Although the cold and mostly dark time of year following the Holidays can prove itself quite tedious, the Ambrosia crew has had no trouble keeping ourselves busy!

Once everyone returned to the office, bellies full from the seasonal festivities, it was right back to business. With the roll out of the Mac App Store, our developers have been pouring blood, sweat, and tears into getting some of our popular titles all up-to-code (pun intended!). Many late nights have been dedicated to functional improvements, proper formatting, and adhering to Apple's App Store guidelines. Keep your eyes peeled for release announcements soon-- we are very excited!

In light of the long hours being put in around here, el' Presidente approved the addition of a few new appliances to our office kitchen. The panini press has become a staff favorite, taking our affinity for all things involving melted dairy product to the next level. As a group of middle schoolers masquerading as functional adults, our love for grilled cheese--or paninis as we grown ups call them-- has only gained momentum throughout the years; bordering at this point on fanaticism. I've seen some serious culinary skills being honed as my coworkers debate which brand and variety of cheddar best compliments bacon!

The new electric kettle has also encouraged some of our staff to trade afternoon coffee for slightly less jitter-inducing teas. As a loyalist to the darkside (or darkroast, as the case may be), I have yet to jump on this Ambrosia "tea party" bandwagon-- Give me coffee or give me sleep!
