Chiral version 1.0.2 runs slowly or hangs on my Mac; what's wrong?

The new sound system Chiral used in version 1.0.2 didn't work well on lower-end Macs. We've rectified the situation in Chiral 1.0.3. An updater is available if you have an earlier version of Chiral. Go to http://www.ambrosiasw.com/games/chiral/ and download the latest version.
