A planet won't let me land, and I am tired of paying bribes - what can I do?

If you are in bad standing with a planet, you can try to improve your image by doing good deeds for the system, such as killing pirates or doing missions for the system's government. On the other hand, you can simply take over the planet and make it yours. In order to do this, you need at least a "Deadly" rating. You also need to defeat the planet's defense fleet. To initiate this process, communicate with the planet and demand tribute.
