What is the Strict Play option?

If you choose to play by "Strict" rules, when your pilot dies, he is truly dead (so make sure you are quick to jettison in your escape pod). If you do go down with the ship, your pilot file will record your death and you will have to start with a new one.
If you decide NOT to play by "Strict" rules, when your pilot dies, you can simply click on the Open Pilot button and resume play beginning from the last planet you had landed on.
