I keep getting an error when I try to save a movie - what can I do?

Last Updated Sep 16, 2005

Snapz Pro 2 writes a temporary video and audio file to the scratch disk as it records. Then Snapz Pro 2 calls QuickTime to do the actual conversion to QuickTime format. If Snapz Pro 2 is recording the movie with no problems, but then an error occurs in conversion, the problem may lie with QuickTime.

Try a fresh installation of the latest version of QuickTime, available at the Apple Website. Be sure to remove the elements of QuickTime from your extensions folder before running the installer. If it isn't a newer version, then the installer won't write over the elements that are there.
