Every time I launch Snapz Pro X 2, it tries to establish a network connection - why, and what can I do to stop it?

 At startup, Snapz checks to see if your computer is online, and if so, will ask the server at Ambrosia if there is a newer version available.

If you would like to prevent Snapz Pro X 2 from checking for an update, invoke Snapz Pro X 2 so it is on screen, and click on the Preferences tab.  Then deselect the Check for new versions at launch option.
