You qualify for a discount only if you purchased a License Code for Snapz Pro X 1.x.

The development of Snapz Pro X took a great deal of time and effort. The video capture engine was completely rewritten from the ground up for Snapz Pro X 2.

Upgrading from Snapz Pro X 1.x static image capture to Snapz Pro X 2 static image capture is free.

Upgrading from Snapz Pro X 1.x with movie capability to Snapz Pro X 2 static image capture only is free, though you will have to dismiss an upgrade reminder each time Snapz Pro X 2 is launched.

Since there was a generation of the product in between, there are no discounts to go from any version of Snapz Pro for OS 7/8/9 to Snapz Pro X 2.

Check pricing on upgrades. The latest version of Snapz Pro X 2 is a free update to owners of any previous version of Snapz Pro X 2.
