Why can't I capture a movie at the exact size I want?

Due to a bug in QuickTime's H.264 (MPEG-4) encoding, video selections are now automatically snapped to a width and height that is divisible by 4 to ensure a capture free of unwanted artifacts. This padding will be affected by any scaling options that are being used.
