I set the Sample Rate for my virtual device to 96kHz, but my audio is only 48kHz when I record in QuickTime Pro - what can I do?

QuickTime Pro does not like the sample rate to be any higher than 48kHz so WireTap Anywhere virtual devices default to 48kHz when chosen as input into QuickTime Pro.
