Why does WireTap Pro kernel panic on 10.5.7+ Systems?

Last Updated Mar 21, 2011

Changes made to the Mac OS in 10.5.7 may cause your computer to kernel panic when using WireTap Pro and USB audio devices for output. WireTap Pro was discontinued in 2007 and will not be updated.

Upgrading to WireTap Studio will resolve the issue. Registered users of WireTap Pro can purchase the upgrade for $30, a savings of $39.

Simply installing any of our other applications with the updated kernel extension will also resolve ths issue (WireTap Studio, Snapz Pro X 2 and WireTap Anywhere, demo is fine).
