| |  Another handy depth switcher is Ambrosia Software's shareware ColorSwitch Pro, which adds a menu to the right edge of the menu bar, listing available bit depths. ColorSwitch also lets you change the Mac's speaker volume without going through the sound control panel.

| |  Nothing does it quicker than ColorSwitch. As an added bonus, this same pull down menu also lets you set your speaker volume.

| |  ColorSwitch is another winner from Ambrosia. Not only does it replace Apple's control strip, it provides more functionality. A modules folder added to the System Folder allows for even further customization!
