I grew up as a child in the country of Upstate New York. I spent my youth tramping through the woods, chasing critters and causing small time trouble.
In fifth grade I moved to Mclean Virginia. Very boring, very white bread, but a good town for kids. We lived there for two years, then went back to the countryside of NY.
After this was a series of private schools, none of which were nearly cool enough to hold me.
I ended up graduating from TC Williams high school in Alexandria VA, where I met my best bro Stephan Crawford.
From VA, I went to LA. I went to film school for a while, and then wasted my time in a variety of odd jobs, including running the spotlights for a company called Film Ad. With that job I got to work on the original DieHard movie, when the terrorist shoots out the spotlight, it was me that actually turned off the light. Unfortunately, the job paid nothing ;-(
LA in the 80s was a lot of fun. Went to many rock and roll shows, and made some great friends. I saw the Dead Kennedies in one of the last shows at the Olympic Auditorium, bad brains at the Roxy and Fender's ballroom. Guns and Roses at the Troubador with maybe 200 people there, Jane's Addiction at Scream with less than 200 people....
Me homey Alex.

When my son Zach was born in february of '88, I paniced for a while, and then with the help of my very generous dad, I went back to college. I graduated from the U of R with a degree in Optical Engineering in May of '95. With the help of my good friend Marcus Conge I started working here at Ambrosia in Oct of 97, and I haven't looked back since, well until I wrote this....
Here's my son and my dad, who's one cool cat.

Now here's Zach and I a few years later.

I got married on August 12th of this past year. Tonjia Jean Williams became Tonjia Jean Dunham, and I couldn't be happier.

Just after Toni and I became man and wife.

Here's my best man Stephan Crawford, and best bro, Lawrence Donohue. This is a couple of hours after the ceremony.
And here we are recovering the next day...
And finally, this is King Man Ras Tafari, Haille Salasei, King of kings, holy lion of Judea....Ok, not really, it's just me as superfreak about a decade ago....

Cool things...
I'm also looking for some old friends from Venice Ca from back in the day. So, Eric, Buzz, Terry, Don and Alex especially, drop me a line.
